Stephen Shore
This is a successful image because of the composition, the angle, and the colors. I like the angle, because its almost awkward. all of the lines are on angles. the photograph becomes more dynamic. i appreciate the way the chairs are cut off, because the way they're cut, brings your eye back down into the photograph. all of the objects surrounding the man and woman have straight lines, which frame the people making them the main subjects. the colors work because there is a common shade of pink throughout the photo. since the colors are muted, it helps bring down the intensity of all of the graphic lines. The pink also unifies all of the subjects together.
